My Land Lyrics

Review The Song (6)Print the Lyrics
My own land has closed its gates on me
All alone in world, it's scaring me

I am here to prove you wrong
I'm accused of something I live for

In my dreamland, there's one who understands
A friendly soul, trusting life in your hands

Yes, I gave it all I can
Now it's invaded by a stranger

Keep in mind what you have heard today
You might find that you are not so brave
Are you man enough, carry the load all alone
When others have your own

My old land is but a pile of sand
Cold and bare but something still is there

Yes, I gave it all I can
Now it's invaded by a stranger

Keep in mind what you have heard today
You might find that you are not so brave
Are you man enough, carry the load all alone
When others have your own

I'm a true patriot, you have my land
you have my soul, you have all I had,
Now I am here, and I want it all back

In my dreams, I climb the hills I see
and let a gentle breeze lead me to
plains I once have seen and
clear blue sky, I swim in lakes I find
I build a house right there
that you can't take ,never take away

I am here to claim my land
you can't keep me away,forever

Keep in mind what you have heard today
You might find that you are not so brave
Are you man enough, carry the load all alone
When others have your own

Are you man enough, carry the load all alone
When others have your own

Review about My Land

My land | Reviewer: Moro | 10/1/2008

I love this song with a passion. From the powerful vocals to the sweeping guitar riffs. The whole piece just grabs your attention and holds it throughout its entirety. One thing I found that I really liked is how the mood of this whole song changes as it progresses. The vocals become more passionate as he speaks of his new land as everything seems to sort of fall into a calm before another storm of powerful tones.

Es de las rolas mas chingonas que he escuchado y obviamente sonata es de los mejores grupos. (It's one of the best songs i've ever heard, and sonata is also one of the best bands in the world)

My Land | Reviewer: Something had to go in this box | 6/11/2007

This song is towering and strong and generally brilliant. There are two main things I love about this particular track. The first is that the concept is simple and meaningful. The second is that Tony's voice is even more forceful than usual. I have a wispy little voice myself, and when I sing this song, my brother laughs, because you can't really sing this song halfway. Thanks for more great music!

I can only say : this song was one of their best ones .. Now I have a problem, I think all their songs are great!!
