Don't go looking for snakes you might find them
Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them
Haven't I seen you here before?
Oh, watch the puppets dancing
Yeah, see the clowns fall down
Hey, tie your tap shoes tightly
Yeah, wear them into town
See you crawling
See you crawling in
Don't go looking for snakes you might find them
Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them
Haven't I seen you here before?
There ain't no heroes here
No, no more
Oh, play the game so nicely
Oh, check, it's your move now
Yeah, we're standing in this jungle
Yeah, with serpents I have found
See you crawling
See you crawling in
Don't go looking for snakes you might find them
Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them
Haven't I seen you here before?
Have your heroes disappeared?
See you crawling
See you crawling in
So don't go looking for snakes you might find them
Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them
Haven't I seen you here before?
No, there ain't no heroes here
Haven't I seen you here before?
No, there ain't no heroes here
Don't go looking for snakes you might find them
Yeah, Haven't I seen you here before?
Have your heroes disappeared?
Don't send your eyes to the sun you might blind them

Review about Slither Slither= Awsomeness | Reviewer: Jazza | 10/9/09
I love this song and the whole album, I do think Metallica's Re/Load era was one of the most different, but if you're a true fan of Metallica it really does show how creative the guys are. Definantly this album is up with my other faves like Ride The Lightning and DM and the Black album.
a little bit weird metallica song, but cool.the lyrics are a little bit weird to but that does not mean anything in my opinion!(i am not sure if you guys know it but this song is known as their most bad ever).
Extremely catchy song, ok lyrics and good riffs that make you want to scream 'OH GOD! METALLICA'! Must-have!

Good but not great. The lyrics aren't terribly imaginitave, but one of the better heavy songs on the Reload album.
