The Beauty of Music | Reviewer: Ben | 12/8/07 Maybe the best thing about this song, and music in general, is that you can either apply it to your life, believe it's about a girl, use it praise your God and Savior, express feeling and emotion, or play or listen just for fun. The fact that to a lot of people it means so much about God is an indication that that's one popular interpretation. If you don't believe that's the right one, then that's your right, because music is for everyone to hear and decide, but don't tell other people that it can't mean something as personal as being about their God. Apply it to your life like you want, but don't tear down others for doing the same. The fact that you're not okay with people believing they're a Christian band or having Christian lyrics makes me think that you're not okay with people taking their own stance about what the song means. But I'm willing to bet that you wholeheartedly support people's right and choice to interpret music how they will. So why are you picking on the Christians or the people who think it's about God? Would you lash out if everyone else thought it was about a girl and you thought it was about something different? No, and I'm guessing it's either because you dislike Christianity for some reason or you hate the idea that you could like music associated with it. Now is that really fair? You have your right to believe what you want. So do we. This song isn't necessarily about god (or whatever you wanna call it), it could be about a girl or something!!! So many good songs sound much like this one, but they're sure as hell not talking about god. When I see lyrics to their songs, the last thing I think about is god. I always find some way for them to relate to my life. So again, shut up with the whole "Omg they're the best CHRISTIAN band ever!!!" and more of the "Wow, great sound to them, and really emotional and personal lyrics". Enough said. This album is a modern classic. I live Tim Lambesis tortured voicce... BEAUTIFUL! Brilliant | Reviewer: Kris | 1/2/06 The sheer emotion of the riffs on the intro is the first thing that catches you in this song and blows you away. As the double bass petal kicks in and you hear the vocalists voice it shows a great emotional contrast between the powerful sounds and the beautiful lyrics. The sheer emotion and expression in the lyrics just makes the song awesome in the first place. Anyone whos ever been in a close relationship should be able to enjoy these.
