I understand everyone has a right to their opinion, but can you honestly believe in God? There are so many questions left unanswered, and I don't want the "Well you just gotta have faith" excuse. Its BULL! SHIT! As for the song its awesome. I love AILD, and like others have said people will interpret the song they want. I'm not biased to christianity or christian metal bands. My fiance is christian. But to believe in lies is a bit too much for me. If anyone wants to prove me wrong, you can try.

Who ever hates christians....should really shut the fuck up...if you don't like em keep it to yourself. If you don't like christians deal with it instead of trying to be big and bad and write about it on some random website....your pathetic man...

anyone with anything wrong in their life wether they went through the loss of a loved one or they were raped as a child, anyone with any kind of problem like that in their life ends up becoming a christian. why? because they need a fucking exuse not to kill themselves, something to give them a reson to live and belive the world isnt as naturaly crule as it is. see any people with perfect lives heading to church? no i didnt think so. christianity is the biggest brainwashing thing out there right up with the fucking commies. point is this song is the shit and the bible is bullshit
i gave it a chance | Reviewer: nicole | 11/18/08
i know exactly what everyone of yall mean by people never give this stuff a chance. because i used to be like... "screaming? how can that glorify God???!!!" and then i gave it a chance, and i also am sorry for ever judging. because everyone worships in a different way and now i pratically have all of their cds. and i love this band. so yeah. people need to open their eyes to the message that is in the lyrics.
amazing music, incredible lyrics! | Reviewer: gaz | 11/18/08
AILD certainly hit the mark here with this song: "You brought and end to this dead hour, and meaning to a calloused life"
for a long time I felt dead, living for thrills - alcohol, money, etc - only to discover that it didn't complete me - I was still missing something. Something that this world couldn't give me. Then I discovered the same Jesus that these guys did, and never looked back. good work AILD!
amazing song | Reviewer: Sideburns | 10/23/08
this song is absolutely outstanding. it will always be one of my favorite songs cause it can have so many meanings. i love how this song could apply to ANYBODY and how anyone can take it into their own lives. its a great piece of art and i think everyone should give this song and this AMAZING band a chance. people who dont like screamo cause they think its evil need to get over themselves. i just had my mom hear this song and a few others by this band, (and she cant stand screamo) but i had her read the lyrics along with the music and she was like wow. she was very impressed with the level of maturity and creativity shown in the lyrics and the music. ive had the opportunity to see this band twice and each time i always had a chat with the lead singer and each time was a rewarding experience. AILD are my favorite band and always will be. rock on to them and anyone out there who can relate to them like i did. AILD 4 life.
It's what you want it to be! | Reviewer: bobo.. | 8/8/08
Religion and music are two totally different things. For christians this song probably means something else than for others.
I myself am not a christian, but AILD is definitely one of my favorite bands anyway, and I interpret the song my own way, like everyone else will do..
It's just like any other kind of art.. paintings, poems etc.. Everyone will find a their own meaning in the song. If you look for jesus and god in this song you'll probably find it, but let others find their own meanings in the song.

I really love this song it's so sweet. I love the fact that it could be meant for anyone it's just how you interpret the song. Like my best guy friend dedicated it to me in front of my whole entire school when he played it at battle of the bands and we started going out. I believe the song is for anyone who feels love, which is what God is all about.
Okay, you faggots. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/16/08
Watch the music video you fucking pricks, before you go all out and say OH, THIS COULD Mean anybody.
If you would watch, it will help you understand them better, God, I hate these people who get on here, and are consta-biased against any metal, that claims Christianity.
If people only gave this stuff a chance | Reviewer: newlegacy | 5/22/08
I can't stand how people hear the screaming and automatically label these kinds of bands as "satanic" or "evil"...singing screamo is extremely difficult to do well and the musicanship is outstanding. And if people would just give songs like these a chance and actually try to understand them...they'd be blown away by the light and hope they shed...
