If you read the last few lines in the last verse, you'll see that the "heart breaker" ends up being the miserable one who can't seem to deal with the demise of the relationship that he wanted over in the first place. IN addition, his girl, is totally ok with the relationship ending. Along with the style in which BNL sings this song, that's what makes the song so brilliant.
