The whole part about "im just a puppet, she pulls my strings" hit pretty close to home. since I am into the whole femdom scene anyways. And it just makes me sad to think about really loving someone, and willing to do anything for them, and they just hate you. Thats why I think it is so sad and Ironic how he would never let her go if the ice cracked, even if that meant he might die as well. Dying for someone who hates you. The song is pretty much about this guy who is in love with this girl who wants nothing to do with him, and keeps giving him crap, and he's stuck between wanting to be with her all the time, but yet hurting from the pain of her hating him. when he says "better watch your step, she's a diamond on a landmine" what i think he's saying is, "watch out, she may be amazing, but she'll just end up breaking your heart."
