bright eyes is the worst band ever. he sounds like he's crying threw the whole song. he is always singing about his problems well no one gives a rats @$$ about problems connor we have are own problems we dont need to hear you complaining about your problems. you shut the f up and write some good lyrics with out them sounding like you are crying.

First off. learn how to spell.
Second. If you don't like it then don't listen to it but get over it if someone else wants to hear it. you are talking about your own problem with not liking him right now. we don't want to hear it.

I think he sounds a lot like Jesse Lacey from Brand New. But thats all the more reason to love him.

Conor Oberst is a genius. He writes poetry and sings it with more honesty and conviction than any other musician i know. Anyone who disregards his music as emo cr@p clearly doesn't understand the difference between poetry and thinking its cool to be depressed. To the anonymous reveiwer who insulted him. You are a tw@t.

i dont even know how to describe how i feel for conor oberst. i feel like i want everyone to love him, but i dont want anyone to know them. i want him to be special to me. its weird. his songs have helped me through so much. from ones that make me to cry, to ones that give me the chills, to ones that are so good they make my stomach hurt. to the people who bash him and his music, why do you feel the need to even post a review, whats the point?? people are just gonna make fun of you. but yah, conor has been special to me for about 3 years now, and he always will be. i love bright eyes, desaparacidos, and just plain conor.

HOW ABOUT A LITTLE MORE STFU AND A LITTLE LESS BITCHING ABOUT THINGS YOU DONT UNDERSTAND.
If that kid actually took the time to read about him, they would realize that half his songs arent even about him, they're about experiences of other people and friends.

Bright Eyes is the best band ever, the lyrics of any song from the band are sincere. When Conor Oberst is sad, you can tell, when he's pissed off you can tell. He is genius. Pure genius.

Conor Oberst is a great song writer. It's all about his poetry. He doesn't have the sterotypical "lead singer" voice, but that wavering note is what really makes them so unique. As opposed to another reviewing here, I do give a "rat's ass" about his problems. Conor has such a talent for getting his feelings into words, and listening to them I can really apply some of his problems to my life. I only wish I could so eloquently write down my thoughts and opinions, but for the time being, I can listen to Conor Oberst and sympathise with him.

I think that Bright Eyes are one of the most amazing bands out there. Some of their songs make me want to cry, yet others are so upbeat and happy that I cannot stop smiling. I believe that anyone and everyone would love them if they would just listen.

Conor Oberst is one of the most talented musicians I have ever heard in a long time. His lyrics are simply genius and his unique vocals add together to make a beautifully tranquil sound for anybody.
