Our Heavenly Father wants all of us. He wants our sin (we ALL have sin and fall short), he wants our time, he wants us to follow him, and he wants us to seek him. He WAS and He IS and He WIll ALWAYS BE the one true God. Though, no, Jesus did not need our help to die on the cross, he did give us the great commission - let us not forget that Jesus did not do away with the laws and the old Testament for they are just as important today in seeking God and knowing him more than ever.

If there was ever a time we should be seeking God more and being the Body it is today in these last hours. The prophecies of the Old Testament and New are being fulfilled right before our eyes and we dont eve see how short our time is. He has given us a road map to follow and if we leave off those portions of the Bible we don't like or say that was in the OLD testament and no longer needed you will surely not find the hidden treasure he has left for us. I stuggle with sin just as a homosexual, just as a thief, and just like all mankind, but if I conitnue in my sin and not die to it daily (just as Paul did) giving my fleshly desires over God then it seperates me from God and will eventually bring about my destruction. Just as Isreal did in times past, and if God did not spare Israel (his own people) from punishment- are we any different?

Instead lets learn from the mistakes of the past - we as followers of the Messiah (Jesus) must show others that despite my faults Jesus forgave me and he has helped me turn over to him the things I struggle with and fill the void in my life I had with sin with a loving relationship with him. I cannot say, hi I am a stealing Christian, or I am a lying Christian, or Adulterous Christian, or Lusting Christian. No I am simply a servant of God and if I want to be right with God, I have to deny myself (and as hard as it is) My Flesh / sin.
THen the Truth sets you free - not the deceipt that tells you that you were born a thief and will always be a thief etc. etc. etc. etc. etc...... God can and WILL change your life if WE let him. I am seeking truth and I refuse to be deceived anymore, just because I don't want to believe the Truth. THere is no reason to argue with anyone here for Gods ways are laid out in his Word very clearly. Lets take out the blockage in our on eyes before we try fixing someone else.

This Song is Amazing because it doesnt just say lets all hold hands and just Love everyone, NO, it says why are we not Reaching, Healing, Teaching, and Going to those who are lost. If you let sin rule your life and define you (in any way) you will be unable to Reach, Heal, and Teach and have the might power of God use you to bring about miracles for they are still happening. Let GO of yourself and let God use you.

Melissa, maybe you just need to understand that being gay simply means that you are attracted to others of the same sex, regardless of whether you ever act on it. There needs to be a distinction made between how one feels and one's actions.

I think it's sad that the review about this song has turned into a discussion about homosexuality.
I don't see anything in the Bible saying that BEING gay is a sin, that just means that you are attracted to people of your own sex, ACTING out these attractions in deeds (and I believe also in thought), however, is defined as wrong. Just as wrong as heterosexual people acting out their lust and desires by having sex outside marriage.
But sometimes the attraction is there for most of us, right? The devil will tempt our weak spots, our "preferred sins", as much as we can.
And facing temptation is not a sin, but giving into it is a sin, for homosexuals and heterosexual alike..

Look, the Bible DOES say that homosexuality is wrong, but it also states all the other sins we do. we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but He still loves us! We still should repent for our sins, but guys, stop yellling at this gay Christian. Yes, we should pray for him and i definitley will, but we should still love him. Sorry for bashin on ya Melissa. These reviews show exactly what the song is saying - "If" we were the 'body' of Christ, we would care more about the lost than whether our opinion was being considered by others. What a waste of time to argue about who is going to hell - instead of pouring out your life and love so they won't! May His arms reach, His hands heal and His words teach instead of our arms avoiding, our hands slapping and our words cutting people to shreds.
