I have to say that Casting Crowns are BLESSED with an incredible gift. This song speaks to so many people, and I love how real the lyrics are. I did a slideshow one night to this song, and was able to show it to my church. It was incredible!

Praise yo in the Storm | Reviewer: Paula Clements | 8/15/07
This song has been a Godsend for me. There are so many storms in life and this song perfectly expresses fears, triumphs, discouragements, encouragements. But ultimately that God is in control and we will praise Him for storms as well as good times.

WOW! this song will touch anybody's heart. I listen to this song when i'm going through rough times. Every single time I listen to this song it encourages me to keep going and that no matter what situation, God will always be there for me and for all of His children.
praising God through our storms | Reviewer: Sarah | 8/9/07
umm when i first heard this song it was as if God had really known I needeed to hear it.. I work at a youth Ministry and we are a bunch of teenagers that teach middle school aged kids about God and help them grow in thier faith ... one of our night was about praising God through our storms and we had planned to make a video about it but what happened was that one of crew members father had died of cancer just before we went to film the video ... ever since that day the song has been playing constantly ... this made me realize that through the tough times we are not alone ... I realized that not Only is God gonna be there when im at my lowest point But i have 4 AMAZING friends that are there for each other when we need them the most

Expectations Vs. Trust | Reviewer: Jessica F. | 8/1/07
When I heard this song, what really hit me was the first verse.
"I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining"
Having my grandma battle cancer forced me to put faith in God, however my faith was more in the way of expecting God to perform a miracle and heal her then trust that He had the best plan. When we lost her, I was floored, and I was so angry. I thought God had let me down, He took my Gramma away from me. Instead of praising Him in that storm in my life, I blamed him. He didn't live up to my expectations after all, so I was humanly justified. But soon, I realized that I was the one who had let myself down, by pushing God away and refusing to realize He was with me and it was His plan that mattered, not my foolish expectations. He taught me trust, and now I'm ready to take on any storm He sends me through, knowing full well He is with me.
Miracle message song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/27/07
I first heard this song when in rural arkansas, estranged from my wife and driving to visit with my elderly father. I looked out my window, tears streaming down my face, and saw one of the first hills as I heard, "I lift my eyes unto the hills, from whence my help comes from... the maker of heaven and earth..." and though my heart was torn, I praised him in the storm inside my heart knowing my pain would not be wasted; and that my family would not perish.
We are back together, and growing.
