It's a stream of consciousness, a raw reflection of someone's thought process. Think of it like this: when you're reading a book, while the narration might be extremely poetic, thoughtful, and full of fancy literary techniques, the dialogue will not be (unless the only people who speak in the book are all writers). And that's what this is: someone's internal dialogue. That's what makes this song amazing: it just feels so real. NEVERUNWANTED your lyrical input "'cause that gurl.....she's a hundred and 3 thousand red m&m's luckier dan da richest woman in my country." already sais a hundred times more in one thoughtless comment than this whole song. he rhymed blue with blue and wear with wear 3 times in one verse right after saying "I try on my blue shirt, she told me she liked it....once." here's another thoughtless parallel of his words. I try on my blue shirt, thinkin of this girl, her look, the way she flirts. these flip flops dont go with this top, maybe shoes? i really need to make myself stop. your starting to panic, thinking too much, im bad at it. she asked me, she doesnt care. just play it cool and kiss her. now im not saying ive never loved a song with bad lyrics, but to call it amazingly amazing when your looking up the lyrics page??? what ever happened to lyrical content. damn.
