It's catchy and all, especially the bit about "Keep your mouth shut, keep your guard up," but it doesn't have the same poetic sense that Chris Carabba's lyrics usually have. It's awkward and parsed and does not trip lightly off the tongue...it's like the Dollar Store version of Dashboard Confessional.
