I was getting up to leave when the chorus hit. I still don't know why, but that chorus made me stay until the song was over. It also kept going through my head on the way home. Especially the part 'I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself'. One thing I find when listening to this song is that it seems shorter than it really is. Probably because it's fairly fast-paced, although I would prefer if it was a little slower. The lyrics are great, but we're not really given a lot of time for them to sink in. Overall, I'd give this song a 9/10. It's heartfelt without being sappy.
