Review about Alabama Song ------Performed by David Bowie | 08/13/2007 11:00:00 AM hmm ...not a song by Bowie Well, this is not a song by Bowie- nor by the " Doors", Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Marian Faithful, or who ever else may have performed it. It's a song by Kurt Weill and Bertold Brecht- (and this has to be mentioned /credited always as such), from the opera " The rise and fall of the city Mahagonny". There - and as such it makes a lot of sense. Thanks to eric for submitting the review.
