------ performed by David Bowie
The song is about a nightmare | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/3/09
The song is about a repetitive nightmare Bowie kept having where he was racing through a multi-level motel parking garage in an automobile at breakneck speed and crashing. "I was going round and round the hotel garage".
Whats it about? | Reviewer: Mace | 7/10/09
Im guessing the comment above me is somwhat correct, but considering its from the low album aswell i guess the lyrics have somthing to do with his drug battle always "crashing" in the same car(with the same drug) i dunno XD
I damn like it! xD | Reviewer: Jareth | 7/11/07
I like this song, man, David's "Low" album is really strange, but it's very different from all his other music too, and that's why I like it that much! Low is really great... This song, 'Always Crashing in the Same Car', is great, too! I found the lyrics to be very... saying-nothing, at first rate. But when I went thinking about them, I thought "Wow! This is about Bowie who always gets in the same thing over and over, and then makes the same mistake again and again!" (That's why he sings 'Always... crashing... in the same car,"!) I really love this song now, I didn't like it at first rate. But now I do! ^^ And that's all that matters, right? Yeah! A great song, a must-heard, just like all the other songs on 'Low'! Bowie's a legend! Huray.
