I saw David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd) singing this song on a DVD (Stratocaster Fender Anniversary)and wow! what a beautiful song! My heighbor heard and said that's a song by Elvis Presley! I havent heard it yet from Elvis although I grew up with his music but I preferred the Beatles at that time.Nevertheless I liked the song very much (Gilmour also doing the guitar solo works)

It's hard to believe that Elvis recorded this song over 50 years ago!!! It has stood the test of time, and in my opinion it is one of the best songs that he ever recorded, not necessarily for the song itself, but for his rendition.
It can be found on his double album "All Time Greatest Hits", I have it on CD and just keep on playing it. Some things just never get old.

I taped Don't from a British FM radio station in ~1959. I have never seen it in compilations. Spent a while last week in CD Warehouse reading paylists on their stock and it wasn't there. I assume there must have been contractural issues. or maybe the master tapes were lost. Thank goodness I still have my original recording. It is probably my favourite Elvis song.

I have loved this song for 24 years!! I love it!!!! After signing the Graceland wall,I put Don't next to my name...Elvis put out alot of songs,but this particular song is just gorgeous!!! Thank-you Elvis for singing this song!!! God bless to all. Love,Paula
