Same goes for the whole album. @'fresh', they are not necessarily wrong, but you are. This song has nothing to do with any battles going on in Sonny's head; he didn't write the song. He joined fftl after the song was written and the instrument tracks recorded for the album. I'm inclined to agree with 'she' - that this song is about the struggle to find inspiration.
