You can really tell Shirley Manson (Garbage's lead singer) really conveys her pain into this song. This is the reality of breakups, when you're at the recieving end of a blow to your heart. This does happen. People do take their breakups this way, and it is a perfect example. There is so much heartfelt pain in this. Lyrics that really struck a cord with me were this particular verse: I smoke your brand of cigarettes and pray that you might give me a call I lie around in bed all day just staring at the walls Hanging 'round bars at night wishing I had never been born And give myself to anyone who wants to take me home So incredibly poigant, sorrowful, and interpretive in your own way. This happens to be, in my opinion, not only one of Garbage's best songs, but one of the top breakup songs of all time. It's a contrast to "Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go)" which is right after it on "Beautiful Garbage." The vocals are perfect. Just Amazing. I love this song, it makes me somewhat relax a little when I'm feeling down. It helps me calm down.
