In the 12th paragraph it says, 2nd sentence, "He lives on his extensive working ranch in south central Texas with his wife and son, George Jr., also known an "Bubba." It says also known AN Bubba. The error is that is needs to be know AS Bubba ( not capitalized, it is only capitalized in my paragraph so it can be emphasised).

If I were asked "Out of all the people in the world, whom would you have dinner with?" and I would say "George Strait" I looked forward to more movies from him. He is my favorite country singer. I grew up in east texas during the 40s and country was big, but i was into Frank, Bing, etc etc but as I hav neared 80 years of age, I enjoy country music from my youth.

Dear George, I have seen the movie "Pure Country" twice and enjoyed the music a lot. I live in Stellenbosch, South Africa and our culture also love Country Music in both our languages (English & Afrikaans). It sounds great in both languages. You have a fantastic country voice and the movie was great too. One of our biggest Country singers will go to Nashville this year or next year to do a few songs there - his name is Ray Dylan and the other are the 2 brothers The Campbells. omg george i love you so much u r my hero, i came and saw you 9-10-2010 in lexington kentucky and as soon as u came out i started crying. i know that may be a little werid but i love you, i guess the reason i cried was because i said i wanted to see you before i died and i got do, and now all i want is to talk to you. Hey George, I just want you to know that in my opinion you are the best singer ever and I've listened to everybody since Bing Crosby and I'm really dating myself now but I haven't listened to anybodys records as much as I listen to yours since I was a big Sinatra fan back in the late fifties, early sixties and I definitely listen to yours much more. All of your records should be numer one and they are in my book. Hope you keep singing forever. By the way my oldest daughters name is Jennifer Lynne. Breaks my heart when ever I read about your daughter.Kids should not die before their parents but thats not up to us. I know you will always keep on singing forever because you love it so much.

Oh my gosh i have loved your music every since i was a little girl. It was what i was raised on in a little town of North Carolina. My daddy and me always listened to you every second of the day. I am speaking for me and him both, we cherish all of your music it is so great. I have always said that I was going to marry George Strait when I was little. I have been to lots of your concerts. Thanks for all the beautiful songs you write. Thanks for all you do with country music and i wish you well.

I believe something that makes George Strait's music so soulful as compared to many of the other "commercial" artists, is the loss of his daughter Jenifer in 1986 to a vehicle accident. The author of this biography may have chosen not to include this detail of George's life out of respect, but it is relevant in my opinion to the sheer depth of feeling his music projects. George, you are as real as they get. Thank you.

Just a little note to say Thank You for all of the best music ever, every song is one of the greatest. When I was growing up everyone would have rock, heavy metal cranking on thier radios in the cars, not me almost always George. Always country music, I still like the "twangy" music. It is what I was raised on. Every weekend when people our age was out raising cane in the bars and carrying on I was always at a square dance at someone's home, we would always take turns at different one homes for the party. I can remember when we got the piano at our house for the parties. Lot of fun and lots of memories. Always George everyday.. Thanks again

I think that george strait is very good with country and also my brother jacobs girlfriend her moms boyfriend sings country his name is chet and has a cd not in stores and he only gave it to us and hopes to be a famous country singer so you inspire me and him and every other country person. george strait keep on singing country

George i am a really big fan of yours and i listen to you every day. I also think you should help get a rock band for country music made. My dad and aunt love your music almost as much as i do. My favorite song by you is "It just Comes Natural" I hope to see more of you in CT. and I hope for much much more sucess in the futrue.I also went to a concert at mohegan sun casino in 2007 I really wish to come to another concert of yours and maybe even meet you that really would be alsome because i would never forget it. My name is Jenn, I have been listening to you since the bandages started, in Steal of The Night. Now that I have two daughters, they to truley injoy your music. Everyday when I get home from work I can hear the music from the time I shut the car door. We really love you and your music. I recently bought my gils and I a Rock Band... But we don't know any of the songs on it, because we usually only listen to country music. I wish that there was a country music game for it. Now i'm only one person but I think that it would sell wonderfully. Of course you would have to be on it, along with Alan Jackson, George Jones, Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, and many, many more great artists. Its just an idea my girls and I came up with, and thought maybe you could help us out, we are rock illiterate.

I know i will sound cleshay and perhaps state things half the world has stated as well. But before i get into that, id just like to say that on October 8th, i will be leaving the country for two years to serve as a missionary ( representing the church of jesus christ of latter day saints) in the country samoa. I will be stationed in the Mission Training Center in provo utah for bout nine weeks or so to learn what i can of the samoan language and teach what i can with a companion out there i will soon get to know. But i am doing this on my own and money out of my own pocket. and id like to state that even though im hanging up my boots n saddle and pickn up the bible for two years, only one person through his natural self and music has pulled me into realization that i will be watched over and on top of that comforted. Mr. Strait, youve kept me comforted through your passion of music and meaning you bring out in ur voice. But once i get back into what i call the heartland of the world and finish college, I'm going to be a country singer and keep that traditional music alive. It will take patience and time, but remember the name " Ben Cates " cuz i will reach my dream. Once i do i'd be honored to even have my name mentioned along yours mr. strait. I hope one day i may stand face to face with you and carry a simple conversation that may last a lifetime. Thank you for being who u wanna be.

I was just wanting to tell you i lease the horse that you used to own. Strait leo King a.k.a Wrangler. He was in one of your music videos as a baby he was galloping in the background. I have not yet figured out which video it is but I will know soon

I wanted to share a moment with everyone on meeting George strait.
After the concert; my two girlfriends and I went to the hotel he was staying at and yes did the groupie thing by waiting on his floor just for a chance to tell him how great we thought he was.
As my two friends were talking to him I panicked and started walking backwards and sputtering gibberish and fell in this big wet flower pot, I couldn't function normally. George was so polite he came over to me smilling and probably embarrassed for me, gave out his hand and said " No one has ever fallen in a flower pot for me." He gave me a hug(he smelled so nice.)asked if I was alright but I still couldn't speak, He gave me his autograph on a business card I had in my pocket. The one thing I really remember is what a gentelman he was to a silly girl in a flower pot with wet dirt all over her.
