Review about I'll Stand By You ------Performed by Girls Aloud | 11/11/2004 10:00:00 AM hope and sweet love 7 out of 10 Found the view helpful i have been in a terrible situation recently, abandoned by the person i most love in the whole world. i know how unfaithful people can be , no matter what they promise you, and it hurts so deep. when i woke up thismorning, i had some of the words and tune of this girl alowed song on my mind. i have heard it on the radio, but not conciously listened to it. suddenly the tune and words ' I’ll stand by you Won’t let nobody hurt you I’ll stand by you Take me in, into your darkest hour And I’ll never desert you I’ll stand by you' came into my mind, like i,d never noticed what they said before. i felt like God was talking to me (through a pop song!) and that it was he was saying he'd stand by me, not let me be more hurt, and 'stand by me' to protect me! anyway, no matter how crazy that sounds, it isnt really, if there is a God and he is ALIVE, why wouldnt he speak through the words of a beautiful song . after all, He's no good if he's not groovy and with it, and understands how we feel. i feel like ive been especially spoken to, and its all quite sweet.
