I found myself in this song, that is why I feel sad today ): The Reason I Listen to The Reason | Reviewer: The Reason | 4/18/06 The day Hoobastank sang this song, I found out the reason why love a place I once studied, played, slept, ate and even worked at... People always ask me why do I love that place so much... I told them to listen to the Reason coz that is my reason, I dont need to explain further. You see love is something that is not really logically and rational and hence you dont really need a reason to fall in love. You just fall in love. I fell in love with that place... I am a loner... dont really have much friends... and the only friends I have are work related. I dont think I am a workaholic. So the only place left for me is that... International Islamic University of Malaysia (www.iiu.edu.my). I knew it the day I left it would be the biggest mistake of my life and it is and continue to be so. I am regretting it every single day. The new place I work at is so unpleasant, so unfriendly, so unReasonable... We are not compatible and at the end of each day, my heart hurts to be back at IIUM. Damn, if only I could be back... so much things I learnt, so much things I experienced and worst a lot more need to be done and I have yet started on them... If you have a fine job, a great place where your troubles cant reach you, where you can run and hide safely, where you can call home, where it shelters you... dont go away, just because people there (bosses) treat you wrongly doesnt makes it The Reason for us to run away especially when you will land in a new place which is a lot worse. Believe me, just stay awhile, maybe things wouldst be better or something really concrete and better wouldst cometh your wayeth. Either way, once you leave, there is usually no turning back. He always sang along with it when it was played.... Last year my dad passed away from a lung cancer because he smoked. I always cry when this song is played. I lived in Malawi up until July this year. I fell in love with this song and made a concerted effort to learn all the words cause it rocks. One night driving home from the Pub (Goodfellas for those who know) the song came on the CD as I approached the Presidential way round about. I drov round the roundabout with my chums in the car for the duration of the entore song.
