I love it. Imogen Heap is by far the greatest artist out there. But I think what she is talking about is an abusive boyfriend. Cause like, when she says "smash", I think she is referring to him hitting her, and then when she says "you're scaring me", it's because he's acting as though he's about to hit her or something. The other possibility is a drunk boyfriend. The woman wants to talk about this and make him feel like everything is going to be alright again. I think at the end the guy commits suicide..i mean, he was driving a car and it said "smash" so im assuming you put 2 and 2 together and it makes sense.
