Listening to this song definately puts one at peace. It's the best attempt (and, in my opinion, a successful one)I've ever found to put into sounds and words the feeling you get when you stop and appreciate the simple things. Watching a sunset, sitting in a field on a sunny day, or, as in the song, laying on a beach and taking in the beautiful ocean and the sky above. It's one of my favorite songs by the band; one of those songs that's perfect for you and some close friends to listen to while sitting under the stars or around a campfire or even on the floor of your room, to just think to.

My interest in this group began with the release of "wish you were here", and currently i have 5 incubus albums. This song conveys a peaceful energy through subtle, yet powerful guitar and vocals. "I wish you were here" describes a simple location that might as well be paradise, a moment of bliss, and a wish to share that moment in time with someone special. I personally find the song very soothing and it remains one of my favorite songs by this band.
