The Reviews about Jamiroquai (page 1/1)
Music for all generations | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/27/2007
Recently turned onto Jamiroquai by my 20 yr old daughter. I'm an old and new rock lover that can listen to Funk Odyssey 24/7. Thanks.

Personally, Jamiroquai is one of my favourites. His geniuine music and lyrics provides me with a touch of letting-go feeling and total calmness.
I am critical, when it comes to music. I go with the characteristic voices and the music genre, which fits the voice best. And for Jay, he has chosen the best one for his great and odd voice. He introduced me the love for the music genre, Jazz/funk, and has preserved it until now.
It was said in the song, Revolution 1993; "sometimes I think that music is the only hope we have for revolution" and I could not agree more. But unfortunately, with the "crappy" music we have today, there is no way that we can accomplish this. Still his music keeps my hopes up for it...

The biography for Jamiroquai is a little out of date. For example Jamiroquai has sold over 20 million ablum and have spent 141 weeks in the British charts (probably more now). They are an acid-jazz band, though their style has changed into funky synth-pop, still combining the mellow jazz tones. They use a variety of intruments including guitars, bass, keyboards/pianos, synthesisers, trumpets/brass and percussion. They have lyrics that are anti-war and very much to save the environment.
