I would agree with most of the already posted reviews here and suggest that what Mr. Mraz means is what you interpret it to mean. I am not entirely sure about the drug thing but I can see how it could be thought of that way. Otherwise I belive this song to be beautiful from most perspectives. Whether it is meant to be interpreted a specific way I don't know. In the meantime we should just be happy that it's a beautiful music piece meant to cheer people up and tell them to live in the moment, or be less vain and materialistic or however you want to take it.
