He is always surprising me with new songs and new stories. I was in awe of his song "Remember When It Rained" it was such a touching song that the first time that I heard it I was in tears. Groban I listened to was "I can go the distance", the song from Disney's Hercules. And I loved that song! Couldn't stop playing it! She was always my favorite teacher and i cannot thank her enough for choosing that song. Josh is an absolute angel. His soul-filled voice has more than once left me breathless, and still does. The ad was not wrong: his voice is truly a gift, and something which i aspire towards as a singer. He is not very well-known in Australia, which is a shame because so many people are still yet to be introduced to the wonder of his voice. I have been taking voice lessons myself for over 5 years and I immediately recognized the perfection of his technique and the incredible gift that he has been given. The clarity and power of his instrument are unsurpassed in the genre of pop music. His skill in classical music is also stupending. The fact that he is so young means that he will have a long and rewarding career. It is also important that he has learned HOW to sing properly and this will keep his voice strong and undamaged for many years to come. What a joy it is to hear Josh sing!! I don't think I can find another word for it. It's just something you sense not only when you see him perform, but also when he talks to the audience.... Especially when he talks to the audience. Sometimes onstage, he seems to get embarrassed and he'll laugh, even at himself. I just returned from a performance of his where, with a soft chuckle, he admitted to the crowd that he was hyper (something I've never heard out of any musical artist) because he had eaten pixie stix before the show. Although this is just one small glimpse of him, as a person, Josh Groban is so very easy to love. And with such a strong voice that is able to color a song so beautifully, as a musicial artist, he is also very easy to love.
