If you ever come back and read this, it's a bit of schooling for you. 1: Yes, Kanye mentions "I met this girl when I was 3 years old, and what I love she had so much soul", but Common was talking about the growth and his personal relationship with Hip Hop, not with his home city, so it's not actually a 'remake' of I Used To Love H.E.R., more a similar use of personifying something as a female who they are in love with. 2: I'm sure everone got the refernces to the 'windy city' and a lit up face as lights, but if you think it needs clarification... 3: Songs like this should be kept unrealeased. Hip Hop has just moved out of the time of basically becoming pop over here in the UK, and that's how it should stay - I'm so tired of songs being ruined by little kids and people who don't appreciate telling me "have you heard this song?".
