It's not about hidden christian messages, it's about not having to go with the flow and do whatever the 'idols' are doing. About looking deep inside you, ignoring assholes trying to put you down, and finding the power within yourself. They are NOT a hidden christian band.

"Especially in this song "It is so easy to live the life of a follower" is confusing."

i think there is other interpretation that you didn't mention. those 'idols' in the lyrics can be secular - ideologies, tv authorities, etc.

and this part:
"No more disillusion
Let them say what they will -what they will-
Their answer to our higher calling
Is conceived by their hatred"

is totally christian (just like first christians in rome). i myself am agnostic, but i have respect for religion and their lyrics are totally awesome.

Christian? | Reviewer: Hydro | 8/1/09

Well in many aspects they have Christian typicals in their lyrics. However a lot of times I doubt they are completely Christian. Especially in this song "It is so easy to live the life of a follower" is confusing. It can be read 2 ways: either as a mocking towards followers to a religion or as a way of telling people it's easier to believe. I prefer to hold truth to the first meaning but if they are Christian thinking it is likely the second meaning.

godders | Reviewer: patsy poo | 5/12/09

yeah all their lyrics seem to be christian, and i know adam d and jesse are the only confirmed godders of the band (yes i know jesse has left), but they seem to write without any specifics.
like 'it wont be long, well meet again. my love you is everlasting' - love for jebus etc, jebus will be in heaven with them. also For You 'your words are my inspiration, your image is the closest to perfection' hmmm :/

i think they might be | Reviewer: COLT | 3/20/09

This is my take i reallyyyy think they have hidden christian messages in their songs, i know they haven't fully said they are christian or a christian band, but Jesse Leach wrote a lot of christian lyrics when he was in the band, so i think they brought that type of lyrics over to howard.

Great lyrics. Wow. Seriously, great lyrics! Sounds like they're talking about children of GOD being rejected by this world. Exactly like it. However, i realize this is not a christian band, so I'm wondering what position are they in to talk about such things if they aren't speaking as followers of Christ. But whatever. Sick song!

Awsomeness to the max | Reviewer: Blanz | 9/27/07

This song is damn awsome, and the chorus is smashing and really fast paced. this is one of KsE's best songs right now.
