Howard is the singer now, that's the way it is. I personally like Howard better cause he is more experienced. His melodic and clean vocals are even more amazing, they set the bar to a whole new level. Strong, commanding and emotional (i.e arms of sorrow). His scream outstands me he can do anything with it. It's menacing and brutal at the same time. He mixes it up so much and so creatively that it never gets old. Leaches vocals were to generic. Yes Last serenade was awesome and Howard can never replace Leach in his original songs, but Howard tries and does an awesome job. KSE fucking rules and so does Lamb of God. But personally, i believe the old killswitch rules, his screams are undenialble. I heard Howard try to cover the old songs and he didnt do a good job of it. He did a horrible job of covering My Last Serenade too. Which is one of the most famous songs. over all though, Killswitch Engage is awesome. If you like KSE, then you should try some Lamb Of God, there my favourate band next to KSE. jones is better | Reviewer: mike | 10/14/08 Jones is way more powerful and raw than Leach ever was! Jesse is more of an emotional singer. You can hear his emotions through his voice. While howard's voice commands people. Jesse can make people emotional and howard can make people motivated. That's just what I think. I love both singers though if I were to choose, I would choose Howard.
