Also, if you pay attention to the entire clip, the building he's in as catched on fire, but no one seems to notice: giving mroe credit to the theory that he's falling ''into the arms of sorrow'' (depression) caused by the fire (death of someone) but he's the only one to know of the situation. (Also known as "the arms of sorrow") he is trying to find a way to cope with her loss, and is not doing to well with it, Running, always running, into the distance. the line, "Stop me before I bleed, again" is probally referring to him cutting his wrists, or a previous suicide attempt. The lines "The echoes of my voice, Follow me down" are probally referring to the times that he talked to her. There is a vision in my head that tells me that this is gonna happen to me in the future years of my life. Being caught up in such sadness makes you blind to the good things around you, the simple pleasures of life that can put a smile on your face. The deeper you fall into depression, the harder it is to see. I love this song, and My Curse, I recently went through a roller coaster of emotions when I really liked a girl. Also "stop me before I bleed again" collaborates with the previous statement. The person in the clip falling - pretty much justifies "deeper I'm falling into the arms of sorrow" falling into a state of depression from something that has happened. Echoes of my voice follows me down - that says to me. something he has said that he regrets. In an attempt to forget what he once said, it becomes impossible as it keeps revisiting him. That's just my perception of parts of this song. - No doubt he's in a state of depression, but the true meaning behind the song comes from deep within. The fact that they show the pain in love and sorrow then they pick it up wth his deep melodramatic voice to take us to a higher place. They dont let us forget the pain though. The arms of sorrow is definitly my theme song right now. I hide just as he does putting on my fake smile never letting anyone know my problems as i slowly descend further alone with only the voices in my head to explain to me what im feeling. There must be some peace somewhere we know there is but we cant help falling further.
