Mr. Ex military-turned bodyguard, keep up the good work, hahahahaha. My brother is in the military and just returned from Iraq... So as I don't fully agree with everything, I still support you all, Thumbs up. I do agree with you as well with buddy flipping out over nothing? And for that guy, just because you're aloud a opinion doesn't mean you should voice it, was this 265lbs "Stormtrooper" standing in front of you, you'd keep your stupid fucking mouth shut, hahaha. Props for a well articulated argument Beenbothsides, not that it was hard for you to put together though. But on another note, I like this song, unreal training music when I do P/T in the mornings, hitting up the gym, or doing some MMA. Once the song hit's, " Ours is not the reason why..." I feel so jacked up, hahaha, Props to LOB for putting out another kick-ass song

You,know about an hour after I first heard that song I wrote my blog which I've never done before just stating my views in a non hostile way, very intentionally by the way and forgot about it. Checking in today It was like 5,4,3,2,1 "hey fuck you man who are you to have an opinion man, fuck you, wait a minuite,I forgot what I was gonna say,uh I better say something so I sound tough,FUCK YOU MAN!" Bro I'm still in Baghdad and have been laughing my ass off for that one.I'm a former Marine scout sniper and a Bodygaurd in Iraq so, uh,ya let's just say it's safe to assume I'm a republican.Still I can sit down and absolutely converse with the most liberal of people,I love hearing other peoples perspectives but why is it that for every person who would like to convey his viewpoint, there's 50 people who want to act like little kids and say "fuck you"to everything?hey annoymous9/13 where do I ever say you don't have the right to an opinion?Go ahead and point that one out anyone. The anwser to your question of why I do what I do ,all 3 and a hundred more brother. Thats the whole point Im trying to convey,I never say this is something you wouldn't understand because clearly you don't but there are some people out there that who would love to hear the publics opinion on former military serving as bodygaurds as well as from poeple WHO-ARE-ACTUALLY-FORMER- MILITARY-SERVING-AS-BODYGAURDS!If someone wrote a song trashing you that in your opinion was clearly inacurate you would do the same.Im not here for your approval,I've had countless Iraqi soldiers and familys thank me for what I've done.Stop getting emotional,I'm a 265 pound x-marine living the past 4 years in Iraq, your threats are not exactly scary to me,although Im sure you'll write back that you would just come up and bruce lee my ass.And to all you guys who guys out there who love metal, democrat and republican who can have open topics without sounding like scared little kids ,I give respect. And as I tried to make this as open minded as possible Im sure Ill be told togo fuckmyself in about a week.Anyone with a real veiwpoint?

Just because someone has not served doesn't exclude him/her from voicing their opinion. There are 300 million people in the US,..do you think ALL have served? Do you think that excludes us from voicing opinions on what OUR government does? If so, you are just a Mercenary. I PAY YOU....I HAVE A RIGHT TO SAY IF I DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!
This song is OBVIOUSLY a protest against the privatizing of Military Operations. Touting ourselves as the foremost superpower in the world, and then subbing out the most sensitive operations is pretty gay, if you ask me.
Believe it or not, you do what you do either because :a) you like it, b)you're good at it, or c) the "pay rate's right"...or maybe all 3...
I'm a red-blooded, tax-paying American, who is too old to join the military, but would in a heartbeat today, who has every right to say what his government does. FUCK YOU for saying I don't have a right to say because I have never served a day in my life!
A fe things to think about from someone who knows. | Reviewer: Beenbothsides | 9/9/09
I was a marine scout sniper in the invasion and have been a contractor for over 3 years. I think this song is well meaning but obviously left wing biased. "privatize to conceal all the lies" wow guys you sure showed us! You've never served a day in youre life but if CNN clearly proves that no matter if you're a veteran from a special operations unit with a flawless record as soon as you join a Security firm you immediately transform into an evil stormtrooper from planet x! some say "hey contractors make way more than soilders!"ya no shit so do garbagemen and bartenders. Have contractors done some dumb shit in the past? For the love of god yes! Are you sure you want to compare that with the amount of stupid shit the military's done? Does that change the fact that their out there everyday risking their life's defending other people? I've had friends killed on both sides , so for me it's not just a cheap talking point ,it's real. On either of side of the argument I thank people that are smart enough not to label American veterans acting in a support capacity and not offensive operations as A Mercinary and to those who actually read the facts not just "oh those guys just go around and shoot everybody, I can't give any specific proof or situations but they just do!"
purely amazing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/31/09
log, just has that pure heavy metal sound, i love how they start with a lot of energy an power, then in the middle, it gets calm, an u think its over, untill you hear that ausoume bass,an they just blow your mind, defently one of they're best and energetic work
wow! | Reviewer: cica | 8/27/09
great energy in this great song! somehow i find lamb of god songs related to (american)war topics very interesting regardless of my opinions on such themes...i can't help but think blythe can better express his thoughts on this matter through songs/lyrics than through some speech:)))...
Awesome song, and MrFuck is an idiot | Reviewer: adam | 7/8/09
Mr.fuck. you fuck head, you dont need to come on to a public website where people ome to check out songs and rant about your pathetic life. do you seriously think people care about your history, don't answer that, because you obviously do otherwise you wouldnt have posted " o I was in the war" shit. No one cares. alot of people were in the war, ut at least most of them were hoorale eough to to try to stick it in evveryones faces. you fucking jackass. go back to iraq
The new face of war. | Reviewer: American | 6/16/09
Hey Mr Fuck- They don't blow up roads when there is no foreign army occupying their soil. What would you do if another country invaded us? Submit or fight?
This song sums up what will be the eventual downfall of the USA, unfortunately.
i wish i was a contractor, then maybe i could pay off my car and child support | Reviewer: mr fuck | 4/10/09
Sounds like Lamb of God read License to Kill by Pelton - Route Irish is crazy now, its completely lined with T-walls and you don't really get hit too much around there compared to how it was back in 04-05... But this song really brings back the feeling of the "good ol days" but then again I don't think the fuckheads writing this song have any idea what it is like to be driving on a road that blows up on you every other day. I'm sure they'd keep their 240 rocking downrange if they ever did anything besides get drunk and play guitar.,,
My current favorite song. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/24/09
I really love this song. Even though it's meant to be anti-PMC's, or at least that's the vibe I get from it, it's just so fucking bad ass. I tried to fix the lyrics, but for some reason it isn't working. I'll paste them here, I'm sorry for any inconvenience, my OCD won't allow me to ignore it any longer. These are as they are listed in the booklet included with the album. If you want the lyrics to any other songs on the Wrath album, email me @ mrgamer12@yahoo.com
