Lamb of God have a lot more going for them then meets the eye. Their guitar riffs are simoultaniously heavy and complex. In the long run I prefer clean vocals, but I've got no issue with non-clean ones. And the lyrics are extremely deep. Take this at face value, and it looks like mindless anger and psychoticness. Look a bit deeper. It's still an angry, evil song, but when you think about it, aren't there renowned poems and books about similar things? Furthermore of course this band gives something "good" out, because although you don't like it there are plenty, plenty who do. So they're giving something good, if you can't appriciate it that's fine but don't run your mouth amoung the fans when you look at the song so superficially. Although I do agree about the name. The single largest Pantera and Metallica fan I've ever met is also the single largest Lamb of God fan, and the largest Megadeth fan I've ever met is an avid fan as well. I love that someone came to a heavy metal band called Lamb of God for Christian enlightenment (especially when considering the band's former name). It makes me love this song all the more :) For me, this song is a violent yet unconcerned face-full of justice, a grin and a ten-foot middle finger for the holier-than-thou. Go ahead and wear your halo, view your life and struggles as something more divine than the rest of the world, because at the end of the day, no one really gives a shit. Whether your throne is built on your religion, your wealth, or even the notion that you have suffered more than others, you can go ahead and shove your egotism up your ass. Everyone has a right to their own opinion but when that person's opinion is clouded by other factors I tend to say something. It seems as though you are the type of person who doesn't want to work for anything in life hence your hatred for Lamb of God and their music. There is no doubt in my mind that you dislike not just them but other bands like them, which brings back me back to my acusation of you not wanting to work for ork for anything. With this song, AND this band as well as other bands and songs like it the listener has to find a meaning in the lyrics. Music is poetry with a few people playing something that makes noise. What a bunch of losers that feel that they are "artist". Clean up your act and why don't you find something good to give to people.
