You have to dig a bit deeper than face value. It may not say "America" however it does say "the burning the home of the brave." Which clearly is referring to the U.S. I personally believe this song is about "The War on Terror," because of the slight sarcasm in the song. As if, between versus, they're "making fun" in a sick and twisted way, about fighting a war that can't be won. For example, a war on an idea, or something to that nature. If I remember my GCSE History (and the internet seems to prove me right) I believe the president at the time was Roosevelt and the "good old US of A" was following a period of isolation.
