Mushroomhead thought Slipknot copied their costumes, especially both bassists had a pig mask. That's when they changed to all wearing identical masks. Mushroomhead was around first, but Slipknot got famous first. Thanks for the history of Slipknot, I wondered how they got the idea and never believed they copied Mushroomhead. It was a coincidence. I'm not saying anyone is better than anyone else, but I prefer Slipknot and Mushroomhead over Lamb of God. I like LoG, but not as much. I care more about if I like the sound than if they are talented (all three bands are), so arguing who is better does not interest me. I have my favorites, y'all have yours, and it's pointless to argue. I can't say anything to make someone change their listening preferences, and nobody can change my mind. I wish those people who say rap is just talk and metal is just loud noise and neither are music would respect every style and mind their own business. They don't have to like rap or metal, or listen with enthusiasm, but respect and stop criticizing. Sometimes I'm afraid to let people know I listen to metal because they might assume I have violent tendencies or I worship Satan or something like that. It's kind of a secret, and I only "come out" when I trust people not to judge my character based on my musical preferences. And why the fuck are people comparing LoG with Slipknot? LoG are groove metal and Slipknot are... well... I'm not sure on the sub-genre but they're NOT nu metal.
