Slipknot | Reviewer: Sin Ticket | 3/20/08 Why are people comparing Lamb of God to Slipknot? They are two very different bands with very different styles and personalities. Okay, it's probably true that Lamb of God > Slipknot, but Slipknot still deserves some credit, even if you don't like them. Yes, it's true that half of the band doesn't do shit, but the other half is very talented. One more thing: Slipknot did not steal the idea of masks from Mushroomhead, oh-fucking-kay? SHIT! Corey Taylor is one of the most talented people ever, he's worked in Stone Sour and Slipknot and he never ceases to amaze. The same goes for Lamb of God. This song kicks ass! Each of their members has amazing talent eg: corey taylor (amazing screaming and singing voice), Mick thompson (unique guitar sounds brought to the metal world), Joey Jordison (the best metal drummer out). And whats more, they have been able to coordinate all their talent into an amazing 9-peice band, which sounds awesome. And I seem to recall you using the words 'sell outs', hmmm, yeah, lets just dwell on that for a second. Well for starters, Slipknot have been selling out at concerts since their first album Mate.Feed.kill.Repeat , and they have been able to keep their hugely high standard of metal high over 3 other albums, and been able to SELL OUT concerts worldwide, and perform at amazing live shows. So after all that, try thinking twice before you post your immensely stupid, and slightly offensive comments on an internationally viewable page. Slipknot and LoG on tour?
