This too was my wedding song, December 7, 1991. I wanted All my Love and my husband said, "NO!, I am dedicating this song to you as my gift. It explains the way that I Love You. You have picked out everything for this wedding and I am picking the song we have our first dance to as husband and wife!" We will soon celebrate 16 years. My heart breaks for you Joyce. My husband and I were married in 1989. Our true wedding song was Thank You but we thought we couldn't dance to it for our first dance(Alas, we chose "Your Song" as a fill in. My husband did manage to have the DJ play Thank you and we danced. Alas our friends kept interrupting to dance with me (after giving him money). Nonetheless, my cutie pie would sing this song to me. My beloved, forever partner was killed in the line of duty late February 2007. Our 18th wedding anniversary is Sept. 3rd. I ended my eulogy to my husband with the first two lines because I feel as if the sun has not shined since that day and the mountains have crumbled. True love never dies.

My husband asked me to listen to this song while awaiting for his court trial. It says so much about his love for me that he can not say himself. This song has kept our love strong and will that love will endure to the end of his ordeal and he can say these things to me himself.

This was also our wedding-dance 10 years ago!When we met,we soon disated that when we´ll get married,this is the song and not any typical songs people dance in weddings in Finland.We did´t have tarditional "dance-wedding",and we took little stereo,and run away from the weddingplace.We went to little lake and danced barefoot in the gras.Some guest werw mad,when we game back,and they haven´t seen our wedding-dance,but I love to think about it.

This song describes so perfectly well a couple of friends I know for, oh so many years, that I'm going to dedicate this song for their 25th wedding anniversary in September. And this song is 35 years old for God's sake. A true classic for generations to come.

When I was young my band played this song - I was the singer-bass player. I was madly in love with my high school sweetheart, and every time I sang this song it was for her, whether she was there or not. We parted ways a couple of years after high school (1972), but I never stopped loving her. This song brings her back to me every time I hear it, at least for the duration of the song. We got back in touch a couple of years ago, and though I am married and in love with my wife, we still end our emails with the first two lines of the song. I think it is the best love song ever written, and is a part of me - part of my soul.

Back in the day, early 70's, I went to visit a female friend at her school. I fell in love and, this song plus Hello It's Me by Nazz, said it all. But my friend wanted to stay friends. Alas I never forgot this song. Now 60 and married to laurel, the song has new and true meaning. Are union has become part of the universal Love flow and, that is what I am thankful for and what this song means to me. Peace :)
