This is my wedding song 11/04/00. My Mom actually picked it out because she said it made her think of me and my husband Jim. We met and started dating in 1989 when I was 15 yrs old so she watched my husband grow up as well. I picked up her Led Zep 8 track when I was about ten and was amazed that the sound went back and forth in my headphones lol! She opened me up to alot of great music. When she suggested this song was perfect for us I had to agree. She passed away a little over a year ago at 56 from pneumonia, so it is extra special to me. My only complaint is that if you use this song for the first dance make sure the DJ makes the wedding party come out and dance with you in the middle of the song. Ours forgot and that is a LONG time to have all eyes on just the two of you. This song seems like eternity out there! It is a beautiful tribute to the person you love. Thanks for listening. Jennifer

my dad and i had always listened to stairway to heaven and when he passed away, i had played the song at his funeral. my dad kept getting bad headaches before he died and passed away from an anurism. i had just recently noticed in the song it says, "your head is hummin and it won't go, in case you don't know... the piper's calling you to join him..." that just felt like madd bizarre i guess everyone goes on a stairway to heaven.

My husband commited suicide and although we were going through a really really rough patch i never ment for this to happen. He did it in our home and unfortunately it hard to be there and so i visit only but one day i went home to clean and well i was going to put another of Ledz songs Babe I'm Gonna Leave You songs cauase i use to dedicate that to him and well Thank you some how it scratched to Thankyou and i had never heard it till then and it made me think, did he send that for me to listen. Led plays my soul.

I was originally looking for black bog cause i had heard it on the radio, and i got bored so i was looking through zeppelin's songs, and u came across (thank you) One of the only the songs that made me cry, it's such an emotional song, and now i can sum up my love for my girlfriend in this song.

Hadn't seen you for a year. We have been going at this for about 9 years now and I wanted so much to hold you and tell you the truth..my feelings had not changed. I am a musician, have been for many years. I met my wife Debi while I was on the road playing with the band and I knew she was the one for me, a firey red head, beautiful, you name it, anyway, she came to one of my shows for the first time about 6 months after we got together and I sang this song, ( thank you) to her in frount of a couple thousand people. The whole band left the stage , the lights went down except for the purples and there I was with my guitar, sitting on the edge of the stage with her standing infrount of me, and sang my heart out. The fans loved it and so did we, she was crying and so was I, yeah, I know, rockers don't cry, BULL!!! Thanks Zepp, you guy's have made alot of people happy and have said things in your songs that other can't put into words... AZZ

This song will be my wedding song, i've known it since the first time i heard it 5-7 years ago, im now 20. it brought tears to my eyes how beautiful it was, and it still does. to me, this song embodies the meaning of love, i can think of no other song that defines the feelings of love as Thank You.
