According to my personal interpretation, the first stanza talks about letting go of the fear that the girl (or boy, I suppose) might not be "the one," because he believes in the love between them at that very moment. The second verse is about him being willing to do a lot for her, and choosing to love her even if she hasn't yet chosen to love him in the same way. The chorus carries the theme of him hoping that she loves him as well, but asking her only to be honest with him.
