On the other hand, metallica is perhaps one of the best bands to come out in the 80s but they aren't THE best. Nor do i think the black album sucked, I liked it. True, much of the material is sodden after the black album, but there are occasional goodies, but the last album was the worst, i believe. But none of you are doing yourselves any credit by typing like goddamn 3rd graders preaching your point of view, music is different for everyone, there is no such thing as the right music. You all need to go back to your mother and suck her saggy tits before you even try to review a song, let alone blast your over opinionated bullshit on the internet.

I can play 15 songs FULLY on the guitar! i can the whole song. its so fucking great. i love them i went to their concert back in January of 09 , oh shit! man that shit was fucking sick as hell! i had front grow oh my damn. im going again when they come. metallica is the all time best metal/rock band ever!god bless them!

I must agree, this album is great, but all these faggots saying metallica is the best band evar, are wrong. They were the most influental and fastest rising band in the 80's. Sure they don't kick as much as these days, but they still do a mean-ass job to say they're nearly 50.

Metallica freaking rocks especially this song it fucking kicks ass and their new album death magndtic is a fucking masterpiece. P.s. This song fucking rocks the shit out of any metallca fan. I would have to say this is the most hardcore songs on the black album lol- dont get mad.. just an opinion. MY favorite album has got to be ...And Justice for All because my top 3 songs are on there. Those songs are Harvestor of Sorrow, One, and Dyers Eve. Metallica fucking shreds and I love all of you for being Metallica fans! i have been listening to metallica since i was 9 and i am 18 now all of thier albums are awesome althogh i feel that the kill 'em all album was badly recorded but the songs are awesome none the less my faverite album has to be S&M and i think my fave song has to be fade to black it has such powerful music and lyrics. I'm gonna have to agree with Dan here. This page is filled with a clusterfuck of faggots who will probably stop at nothing just to suck James Hetfield's dick. "I grew up with Metallica" "OMG MY FAVE BAND EVAR". And I love how all of you guys came in your pants when you listened to the Black Album, but you completely ignore every album before that, which is when Metallica was actually GOOD. Now they sound like every other boy band out there. It wouldn't fucking surprise me to hear them use auto-tune. Everyone here needs to grow the fuck up.

ok Im 16 I've been listening to Metallica since I was 7yrs old and the Black Album or self titled whatever you wanna call it was my first album I heard from Metallica I didnt understand the lyrics at the time but now that Im older I get it this song brings me up when Im feeling like shit and this song brings me the happiness I look for & one thing thats for sure this song has spoken to me on to never give up on my dreams so I thank you Metallica for everything for contributing awesome back breaking riffs masterpiece solos and incredible heart to heart lyrics! this song fucking rules
