I felt strong about mixing genres...but MSI showed us a different way of mixing..here they use there own technique..there own sound..only incorporating lyrics but using there methods..which in my eyes mixes well..I couldn't possibly stand method man singing along to MSI's version..it would be like putting ice cream on top of steak.. I respect both versions..but I gotta give MSI props they did a terrific job owning the song without actually owning it! In my opinion MSI really did not do Method Man justice. Sure, they put their own spin to it and bring something different, but yelling the lyrics incoherently doesn't make it an improvement. The reason Method Man wasn't screaming every verse out was because he didn't have to. He had wonderful style and a naturally badass charisma. My heart was beating so goshdarn fast because I had never heard anything quiete so outrageous. This song is a perfect example of what they stand for.
