The Reviews about Someday (page 1/ 2)
------ performed by Nickelback

Hot | Reviewer: kim | 6/1/09

This song is one of the best songs that Nickelback has sang/preformed. Others like Rockstar, Gotta be somebody, Photograph, If everyone cared, and Never Again are hot songs by Nickelback. I'd take this over Tim Mcgraw, Garth Brooks, or Taylor Swift.

Hmm... | Reviewer: Namine | 4/20/09

I don't think the guy knows he's dead; or doesn't know what he did (hence "the signs they missed") to make her upset; in his eyes she's just ignoring him when really she thinks he's long gone. this can go two ways: either he's dead or there's a symbolic meaning to his 'death.'

If he really is dead in this video (and its not symbolic of anything) then she's grieving over his death. He doesn't know he's dead which is why he's trying to make her stop and runs after her. She obviously doesn't see him (his footprints arent seen when she steps through the milk and then he does; she couldn't see him in the rearview mirror even though he was running behind the car) not sure what the 'exit only' part meant... uhh... when the huge truck crashed into her car and she died, she was finally able to be with him (someday somehow we're going to make it alright)

but i feel like there's a deeper meaning to all this... death could symbolize a lot of things. If he was 'dead' to her.. that could mean they broke up, he doesn't listen to her, he doesn't seem to care about her... etc. Maybe the lyrics are what the girl is saying to him. It's really hard to understand... but with the newspaper article saying he died it probably is that he's dead and they get back together in the afterlife.. just trying to think of it in a different way.

a great song. Not sure if they copied How you Remind Me or not, but still has a great sound to it. The video is chilling. It doesn't go along with the meaning of the lyrics though, but it is a oddly meaningful music video.

It's gotta be here and now | Reviewer: Tafhim | 1/30/09

Well I think going towards the concept of the video the Band would be a mistake because they make the Videos purely with the Idea of making things interesting. I'd prefer going with the straight idea given by the lyrics itself. I agree with the Chad Kroeger comment on this but would like to make things a little bit clear in case of that's what Chad really meant and made two of us. Well I think it actually means that people who just think about making things happen and keep on living in a dream world about that are not gonna make that special day come because they're gonna think that as long as the dream stays the day stays. But if you wanna really make that day come then you have to do what you honestly think you should do "Right here, right now."

Meaning of Song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/28/07

I agree that he is dead as one of the previous reviewers stated. However, I believe that she died as well, and her spirit walked towards him and they hugged each other in the afterlife. No one notices them, and the newspaper article about her death has not yet been written. I agree with the reviewer of 10/17/07.

The Real Meaning to This Song | Reviewer: no one important | 10/17/07

The guy is obviously dead in this song, I don't need to explain why this is obvious. The woman is alive as she's getting into her car and driving away, and his "spirit" is following her. Then, she gets hit and KILLED by the truck. Her ghost appears (it materialized, meaning it wasn't real). Plus, nobody seemed to notice her walking away from the scene. She died, and now, since her boyfriend is dead too, they can be together in the after life. VOILA.

about the video.. | Reviewer: mike vasquez | 8/10/07

I think the video is saying that no matter what happenes things will be ok. Wether in life or after death. They will be happy and together

Yer all wrong o_o | Reviewer: Uhm... | 7/28/07

This song means, and DO NOT Fuss with me, CHAD the person who wrote the song said it means..
It's like

Your always telling someone, Someday I will..
Someday we'll do this and that and this, I promise..
but Someday never comes. So it's kinda
A way of saying
Sorry, Baby, It wont ever happen...
