Firstly I cant get enough of this song! The riff right at the start just sucks me right in. The lyrics are great and just freaking catchy!
I have a bit of a theory on what this song is about. I'm guessing it's about the band, with a verse about each member.

-Tuomas, 'storyteller' (song writer) and 'Gathering a troop' (founding member).

"A merry minstrel with his fingers fast
Playing his Flute charming every lass
Joins the troop with a glitter in his eye

-Emmpu and Sammi, if only for the 'fingers fast' fretting on the guitar.
"Warrior with power along the path
A hammerheart his gallantry to last
Rhythm of sirens enemies take heed
For in this war laws are in silent sleep"
-Jukka, lays down the rhythm and beat; also he was the 'warrior', finishing his mandatory military service.
Anyway, just my take on it, awesome song no matter what!

Hand in hand with a dreamer's mind' yes that is most deffinatly the best way to walk in this life just beautiful this is indeffinatly my favuorite song by nightwish they are the BEST love them
