There is a significant percentage of people with bipolar that commit suicide. In my opinion, this song sounds like he understands the condition, and he is talking about fighting mood swings. He's happy and sad, then sometimes happy and sad at the same time...this is called a mixed state. Only a person with bipolar could truly understand where he is coming from...I'm 42 and bipolar. I'm afraid that this may have played a part in his suicide, if he was bipolar, he couldn't have helped himself.
