The Reviews about Where Did You Sleep Last Night (page 5/ 8)
------ performed by Nirvana

::sigh:: | Reviewer: lauren | 10/3/07

if you listen to this song, and if you've ever seen the performance, you'll see a moment in the last line of the song when after he screams "shiver" he sighs, and you can just see/hear the life leave his body, especially when you keep in mind that this was the second to last performance he did before he killed himself. sorry, just wanted to include that, i don't know if anyone else ever noticed that or thought that

this song just puts life in perspective. you can easily base your life on this song, as you can listen to it in any mood. the solo is so sad and you can relate it to all the terrible things going on in the world today. kurt cobain, and the rest of nirvana for that matter are just legendary, rolemodels, and absolute musical-geniuses. the finale where kurt literally 'screams' the key verse cannot be copied or covered by any other band, as he keeps his voice in perfect tune all the way. truly amazing, unique and a miracle voice. if only kurt was appreciated more. but his soul and legacy, and nirvana's legacy will forever be rememberd in musical history. Just thinking about the song can make you feel so happy. Brilliant. you must hear this song before you die...

it is about.... | Reviewer: big boo | 9/22/07

come on folks...don't you get it???

he was married to courtney love for god's sake...this whole unplugged album is kurt writing his own eulogy before he killed himself...this was recorded in jan or feb..I forget which..and he tried to off himself in march and then accomplished it in april...she fucked billy corgan of the pumpkins right around that time and kurt was a very old fashioned "one woman one man" kind a guy...marriage is a sacred bond and all that old stuff. He was working on divorcing her but killed himself instead.

btw...I don't think you can find another song in modern rock that has the pain that he shows here...real pain...especially on that last verse...if you know one then name it. peace.

special feeling at the first time i heard this strong, something in my heart that i cannot explain. great song!

lyrics | Reviewer: nmo | 8/18/07

I love how Nirvana did this song even though they didn't make the lyrics. The lyrics were made in the late 19th century, but have been covered by many artists. Instead of "my girl" the real lyrics are "black girl." But still, it's a great song by Nirvana.

say, Never Die!!! | Reviewer: Manjunath | 8/14/07

The best voice I've ever heard in my entire life... Carries more emotions than any other vocalist around the world... Cobain, is truely an amazing singer and the way his voice carries his songs is truely awesome... I'm damn sure that his songs would still be fresh to hear even for the next X-generations....

Thankyou Lead Belly | Reviewer: drive | 8/2/07

Kurt Cobains voice | Reviewer: Athina | 8/2/07

Im a really big fan of Nirvana and the first time I heard this song, maybe 3 years ago,I just fell in love with it ^^ though I dont think this is the best song by Nirvana. I just want to marry Kurt Cobains voice.. ._.

Not even close | Reviewer: Mike | 7/24/07

This is a great song but not even close to the their best. Scentless Apprentice is the top, then maybe About A Girl on the album Bleach. There's probably ten better songs or more by Nirvana.

Look it up,

The LMX

pure passion! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/14/07

just amazing... kurt cobain has the most amazing voice ever..

btw... is this song about a cheating girlfriend or a girlfriend who murdered someone?
