Dimebag Darrell was a brilliant guitarist. People new that even before 2004. Plus considering the fact that he never actually had a guitar lesson and just learned everything by ear. RIP Dimebag.

I had been lisening this song a trillion tymz bt it never use to bore me, instead wen evr i m bore n lisen to this song it keeps me in a rocking mood, the bst thing is that i luv da music of this song wit all my heart, great lost for metals to lose such a bst guitarest, R.I.P Dimebag.

I don't think it matters who the "best" guitarist of metal is, but this song is so catchy!!! I mean even if you don't like metal music you gotta admit this is catchy as hell! R.I.P. Dimebag, such a great loss to metal music.

“Cowboys is where everybody came into their own, along with the full-blown Pantera sound,” says Vinnie. “That was actually the first song we wrote for the record. Basically it was about us coming out of Texas and being out of place. People don’t think of Texas as being a hot spot for heavy metal, they think of New York or L.A. or something like that, so it just seemed like an obvious concept for us.”

I think 'cowboys from hell' is one of the heavy metal song that can really bang yer head off man..! the everlasting one...

but i just wonder what the lyrics r all about, cudnt figure out man, what they're tryin to say.. can somebody? or it meant to be meaningless? screw the lyrics, hail the music??

Come on guys, you all know that the greatest guitarist is just a matter of opinion, IMO Dime is the best, but in your opinion it could be eddie van halen, dave mustaine, kirk hammet, chuck schulinder, or any other metal guitarist you can think of, the only thing that matters is that we lost a huge influence in metal, Dime changed the concept of metal guitar playing, he was a revolutionist, and for that, we thank you Dime, see you on the other side. R.I.P.

This is a pretty cool song, I'd have to say my favorite guitarist and the best guitarist is Randy Rhoads. But all in all this is a damn good song, My brother in law introduced me to Pantera and this is one of my favs. It would be nice to see them reunite but I think out of respect for Dime they won't. ROCK ON

Come on, people. Dimebag was certainly a good guitarist, but nowhere near the best. If I were to peg the best guitarist, Id have to say Chuck Schuldiner. Still, that aside, Pantera rocks; Anselmo is one of my vocal influences.

uh.. haven't you been paying attention? Dimebag was shot. He was the greatest guitarist ever to have lived. If Pantera was to "Reunite", they wouldn't be Pantera. They'd just be another band.
