I must say that Alberta was my favorite by far and if I had to move anywhere else in Canada, this would be my first choice. It really is a little piece of heaven. However, I'm Nova Scotia born and bred and I could never live anywhere else. When I hear this song and sing along, in my mind, I'm singing about Nova Scotia. This will always be my home. We may not have the Rocky Mountains and the Chinook wind, but we have everything else, including the coal mines. I think what Brandt does is make us all appreciate the place we love, home, and regardless if you are Alberta Bound or Nova Scotia Bound, we have one big beautiful diverse country here north of the 49th.
