Jenny's favorite song | Reviewer: zora bible | 6/4/09
In the last part of August of 2005, my daughter and I was coming home from visiting her brother. Movin' On came on the radio and Jenny literally told me to be quite and listen to it. As she sang along with it, there was more emotion in her face than I had seen in a long. After it was over, she turned to me, and said that it was like the song was writen for her, that the person who wrote it knew her. She had a hard life and suffered from alcolism. She was tring to quite and doing a good job of it but her friends would tell her she wasn't any fun after she quite drinking. Jenny died September 11, 2005. The song was played at her funeral.

What pain; such relief | Reviewer: Robin | 10/15/08
I have had the worst month in my entire 45 years. I lost my 5 yr old son to God, my husband, my home, my job and my second son to his dad. I lost my friends and all that I had poured the last 11 yrs into, in one overnight. My sister came and spend 3 weeks with me (1100 miles away) to help me deal with it all and pack up to move back to midwest. She truly is my guardian angel. I heard this song on the trip and went "OH MY Goodness!" It feels heavy in my heart every single day how much I have lost and then it feels good to hear a song that identifies so perfectly with the turmoil inside of me. Thank you Rascal Flatts.
Meaning behind the song? | Reviewer: Amy | 12/9/07
Lauren, you spoke about the story behind the song from meeting with songwriter David Vincent Williams? Could you share that story? I would like to know what the meaning behind this song is and what personal meaning it had in his life.
This songwriter must know me | Reviewer: Michael | 7/11/07
These lyrics are among the very best that I have heard in all my 56 + years. The writer must have been reading my diary. Most of us will one day wake up and realize that we are at that exact point in life when we can honestly get up and... sell what we can and pack what we couldn't sell and then we will be the one Movin' On. God be with us all.

I met the song writer for this song (David Vincent Williams) and he is amazing. This song has such a personal meaning for him and hearing it explained brought tears to everyone's eyes. Rascal Flatts was truly lucky to cut this song (and did such a great job with it)

Amazed. | Reviewer: Carly | 4/22/07
This song is amazing. Who doesn't go through this? Anyone who doesn't is rediculously lucky. Rascal Flatts does an amazing job at taking real life situations and feelings, and putting them down on paper, and making them a beautiful, heart touching song.
