The guy that wrote the lyrics or the one that sang it? i dont know, i couldnt say, but you have to admit that song writing, like poetry in the 20th century had become a self-indulgent activity, and chances are that, while beautifully sang and in ways- convinient to those that sang it and their life situations, the most true reality of the circumstance was felt by the one that first penned it...thats significant.
