The lyrics were short, mundane and boring. It also speaks out against a pop culture icon that christians believe to be satanic but isn't. It is only fair that you leave these arguments to the church rather than dragging them into your song for popularity. The song is about an ex-girlfriend who once believed in God and has now fallen away from Him. The whole idea behind this song is that she got wrapped up in pop culture and no longer worships God or considers herself a Christian. And yes, the lyrics are a bit corny, but this is from RK's first label released album and it's songs like this that made me fall in love with them in the first place. They are always using pop culture icons and puns in their songs, especially in their early stuff. Marilyn Manson just happens to be the icon they chose to get their point across because of his image, not as a personal attack on him. I happen to love this song and it makes me laugh whenever I hear it because it is so ridiculous. So before you start bashing a terrific band for their music and lyrics, you should try to understand them and where the band is coming from.
