i just love rise against but im nothing close 2 emo... every1 has diferent ways 2 put there fealings out, some ppl screw up and get into trubble... i used 2 be 1 of those... but these guys r artistes, and they do it thrue music

who cares if its emo or not..first id like to say rise against and metallica are def not emo. If you like to smoke weed then listen to metallica and tool etc.....another thing is any type of rock is the best out there...you gotta have no talent to rap all you gotta do is sit in your basement write a few rhyms go on the computer and make up a beat and there ya go you got your hit...lets see a black muh fukka play a single note on the guitar..oh wait they cant do it cause THEY DONT GOT TALENT..i gotta give it to jimi hendrix though cause he is one of the best out there but no way a black guy can even get close to the jimi hendrixs led zeppelin and eric clapton.

OK, Tim's friend commited suicide, so he dedicated this song to him...its about his friend and being "emo" and cutting himself and then at teh end hes no longer there...just a motionless corpse...this song is not emo its about an emo person rise against is not emo, but they have emotions just like everyone else...everyone has them, but some people like to hide them.

Very good song.I'm more of a rap kind of guy but rise against is my favorite rock band.As for'emo'.It stands for emotional, right?Do the people who criticize 'emo; band ever stop to think how the bands got that way.Its usually their fault.wat can I say but... fools.

Dude, if this is emo then barney is real and lives in ohio, i mea come one, its an amazing song. rise against is my favorite band of all time and this is one of my fav songs. plus one by metallica is an awesome song

Try understanding the lyrics behind the song before you label it. One by Metallica isn't some emo song, it's about a WWI soldier who lost all his limbs and all his senses, and his thoughts. Ever seen Johnny get your gun?? For heaven's sake, scenes of the movie are in the video.

Ok imma be honest i've always hated Emo. Everthing about it. I hated the song One by metalica, when it talks about killing yourself and waiting for darkness. but if this is considered Emo then screw it because Rise against is awsome
