This is is definately the best song on the album by a long way. It was the first song I heard off the album and is now my favourite song ever. I'm a huge KSE fan, since the beginning, and i have to say, their sound got SO much better with the addition of Howard Jones. As far as I know, Howard wrote the dagger, and 2 days after showing it and practicing with Robert Flynn, Jordan Whelan, Jeff Waters, Christian Olde Wolbers, and Andols Herrick it was time to record. They were all nervous as shit, but as it seems, it turned out amazing. This is easily the best song on the album. All the fans of the bands involved [Machine Head in particular] will love this. Team leader Robb did an amazing job of the lyrics and writing the music for this belter of a collaboration. The great thing is that it doesn't sound like a Machine Head song, but you can tell that he wrote it! Like somebody else mentioned, the mix of old and new is just right. Jeff Waters' solo is a thing of beauty. Seeing him play it on the DVD makes my own fingers feel like they have to bleed. It rips and tears through 30 or so seconds of high-octane brilliance. It was nice to hear Andols Herrick's drumming again. Jordan Whelan is a breath of fresh air. The dual vocals from Robb Flynn and Howard Jones just makes the song. It is far by the BEST song on the RoadRunner United Album. And RoadRunner should be as proud as hell to have LEGANDS like these guys play 4 them. It has got the perfect mix of music from super fast bass and perfect druming and it has got a great mixs of guys from Old Skool guys like Jeff Water playing that pecfetion solo and New Skool guys like Jordan Whelan playing that awesome pick slide 2 start the song off.
